LG Light Ovens – Introduction

LG have pioneered a new way in cooking - light ovens or to give them their full name lightwave ovens. These ovens use radiant heat and halogen light to cook food faster and more efficiently than convection electric ovens. LG use their SolarDOM lightwave technology and a round cavity oven design which reflects heat more evenly.

As well as cooking food more quickly the light oven design means that there is more cooking space than most microwave ovens and the round cavity design of a light oven makes it easier to clean.

Using LG’s Steamdom in your light oven you can also steam cook food. The stainless steel cover steamdom does not let microwaves through but will boil the water to steam cook the food inside.
