The LG steam washing machine is the first of its kind with ‘steam direct drive’ technology that saves at least 36% water and uses 25% less energy than similar machines of its class. Those that hate ironing will love this machine because the innovative steam programme continuously sprays steam and rotates the drum gently to effectively remove creases and odours from fabric.

Steam cleaning reduces clothes shrinkage and will extend the life of some clothes.

LG have also introduced six colours into the range: pearl white, aqua blue, cherry, rose, silver and black.

As part of the launch LG have also brought out a Designer Guilds limited edition range, there are four models:

Cloisonne – Black background with large silver flower pattern

Imperial Flower – White background with large red flower pattern

Ribailagua – White background with red, black, beige, silver and white circle design

Sevilla Green – White background with green flower and leaf pattern
